Lyttelton Harbour, Mikez V1 135,Sev NCX 6, FF 85/550/225@0. Only intended to do one run as lumpy and gusty but found some flatesh water. The combination of smaller sail and wing in stronger conditions was controlable. Wasn't trying to bust any speeds, just a surprisingly enjoyable session.

Christchurch Estuary, NZ ..Managed to repair my Mach 4 7.0, the main batten broke just before Christmas - Used the batten from my Mach 2 7.0 and had to cut it to fit, so won't be able to use my Mach 2 again. ..Rotation is very much improved and so is the draw forwards, ..think it is my first time into 30 knots with the Mach 4.

Hi Mike, I've put the broken Mach 4 batten in my car, ..I'd be very interested to know your opinion of it, especially considering your knowledge of carbon.

..I was sailing until exactly 1700, a few fairly solid feeling gusts had started to come through from 1635 onwards, ..Aaron and Dan might well have been into the high 30's in those gusts.
