H-Attack (19719km):
554 days ago 3rd day of my speed trip with Theo in La Franqui. And again... what a day!
The start was not really a success. Right on my 1st run after 20 meters, kissed my sail with my face. An hour with a cloth on my nose to stop the bleeding (blood thinners :-(
Fortunately, later on it turned out to be another top old-man session with 2 "pretty good" runs. 2 x 80+ runs, again some PRs from max to 250m. Could it really be that (speedsurfers) life starts at 62 :-)). On that last run I had a nasty crash (luckily unhooked) on the end of my run. Pffft, totally shaken, not stirred :-).
Tried a few more runs after that, but due to the combination of fatigue, poorer wind conditions and also some fear, I didn't even get to 70.
1 good run too few for an new avg PR, but oh well, I'll wait for that until I'm 63 :-))
