Jimmies Beach, NSW, AU

Wind was up and down here.
I had the silly idea to try a wave board for the first time. The wind dropped, and so did I.
Patrik Free Wave 95ltr - KA Kult 6.4 Freeride sail

I then used the same sail on the JP SLW for a go which was decent.

Patchy 10-18kts ENE - NE Peely Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU- level 0.29

7m OD M2 - RS4 ( 111ltres) - 24cm FF

then RS2 (90ltres )- 18cms FF V4

The wind was a bit weird. It was funnelling beautifully through the flats ( 15 - 18kts) elsewhere only 5-12kts.

The 2 sec was on the big board.

The 90ltre would have been great in the flats. I eventually gave in and went in to get it with a faster fin.

I was buggered by the time I got in but I need to get fitter so I grovelled back out hoping for some great runs.

Too late .It was all over by then with a very patchy 5-15kts NE west of the pole and nothing much in the flats . I grovelled back in..Undecided

I should have stuck out with the big gear . I missed the best of it.

Good fun though. At least this session is starting to look like a normal session rather than a float. Smile

Pete and Mike. The guy with the pushbike was out for a while and Mick Hay went out as I packed up but it was all over by then.

They are clearing all the floating algae between peely and 7th avenue. He said it stops the growth of the seagrass.

I noticed there was still some underwater closer to the launch so maybe it is growing back since clearance.?
