Mick Saunders (12418km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Easterly 5 - 9 knots +. Tried new but old slingshot 150 l not bad, will tune up next outing. Good turn out on the water. Slingshot 150 phantasm 926 Ezzy 7.6
Ant-man (13968km): Coal Point, NSW, AU 5.5 Hydra 1500 Fanatic. Picked a good time to go out (1245). Wind died and then came back around 3:45. Lots of clingy weed on the western side of the lake. Not too many jellies. Heaps of wingers plus the usual suspects.
James Farley (12826km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Exocet RF91, Titan 9.0, Starboard Race 1000 - Wind ENE 8-10 knots Great to be back in rashie and boardies, with a nice nor-easter. Plenty of pumping to get flying but some nice long runs. Cool to see so many kids on the water for the NSW Youth Championships. About a dozen iqFoilers and a similar number of wingfoilers.
Greg Kiskarpati (21137km): Coal Point, NSW, AU Stb 1000 . 8 1 turbo . Nice foil with Andy , Byron , Tony and several wingers and untold monster cruisers , jet skis and fishing boats . Beautiful day on the water . I dont know how Sue can write so much . I'm over it already 🙄
Byron Mcilveen (65667km): Coal Point, NSW, AU Duotone 8.9 , f4 620, falcon foil 188 Such a big sail to jybe and get any speed out of it. light no wind at coal point but heaps at sand islands and up at Belmont.
Bruce Healey (24746km): Yamba, NSW, AU Finally got to sail at Yamba. Was NNE which I gather is not as good as NE. Nice to use pointer fin for a change. 6.7, 34 fin, casl 93
Ian Wright (16410km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Nice 8-10 knot E/N/E. FFF175 , 9m HGO , IQ900. Nice to see plenty of sailors in the NSW Youth Championship. 15 or so IQ and lots of little sailboats.
Andrew Haigh (50867km): Coal Point, NSW, AU Starboard 140, Flow 1500, 7.0 Flyer NE 10-15 Picked up the minute I went out, so I was overdone for the entire session.
sboardcrazy (25757km): patchy 8 - 16kts ENE-NE Peely - Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level 0.26 7.5m Turbo- RS4 ( 112ltres) - 24cms FF Well I chose the right gear today. There was 5-8kts W of the pole to start with but it filled in a bit better later as it went NE. Not really enough wind to do bearaways and a bit patchy in the flats but fun. The 2 sec was a good gust in the chop on the way in. Pete put in at Buff Pt. I don't think he'll do that again.. My boom cam came off. It's the first time I've appreciated the power ex extension. I could let everything off , add more extension and tighten it again. Plenty of garfish flying across the nose of the board. I feel like the body is getting more match fit . Still working on my gybes and the hand is aching, but I'm happy. There was a 1m red bellied black snake crossing our lane as I came home. By the time I'd worked out it was a snake and not a stick I'd gone over him. I straddled him and he would have survived but I'm a bit worried he might be in the chassis in the garage. He was pissed off and starting to stand up as I went over him. Pete , Mike , Pugs , Mick Hay.
GeoffS (8272km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Formula 159 Flow 1500 Severne 8.6 |
