Mega gusty Easterly at Foilville.

Rigged the Hydro 91 + 7.0 + 725 wing, then while I was suiting up I heard a loud bang, and sure enough the mast had snapped.

It looked way too feisty for an 8.6, so pulled out the 6.0 and rerigged.

6.0 was comfy in the gusts, but hard to get going in the corners, which resulted in a lot of pumping/schlogging.

Oh well, nice to get out and I managed a few fun runs fully lit on the combo.

Breeze was picking up as I headed in, but my arms were shot from all the pumping.

Albany, WA, AU. Another magic day, hard to beat with lots out.  Slow learner, didn't appear windy so rigged the same as yesterday and went out on the big board despite Boz saying is was already cranking and 5.7 was plenty.   Sure enough, went out and after a few hundred meters was howling. Stuck with it and did a NM but practically took off, totally out of control.  Came in changed down, flattened the drone batteries and went out again.  Much nicer.  Put camera on the pole again.    360 helmet mount however then failed so came in to get rid of that.    Fanged around, trying for Alphas but no speed for me.  After a few hrs burnt the drone batteries again then out again, bit of fiddling and got the best speed then tried for an hr.  Was doing ok but 2/3 way through wind dropped off.   Took drone out again but by thius time everyone else had given up so went and scared the kiters instead.   Wanted to go out an follow the nutters fanging out in shark country but they were in the middle of the bay and too far to risk for the drone.    iSonic 86, KAR 5.7, FF18
