413 days ago Albany, WA, AU Mistral Speed 95 CA63 scs5.8 ANW20 The wind kicked in earlier and the tide was still very low. Started with some nautical mile runs on the sp95 and I found it a bit draggy with the weed just on the surface then tried some gybes and perfected my face plants on the sp95 so changed to the CA63. Fewer face plants but the really good gybes eluded me today. I’m sore, tired but very happy 😃

412 days ago more later still recovering from stack and mild concussion
Bugger forgot to hit post last night, now I have to start again! Bloody old age!!!!!
Started off with 55cm board and 5.7 speed.
Had lunch while wind built to max, changed to 48cm board and 5.2 speed, went out to a dropping wind, was underdone, and wind kept dying, so headed back, on the way heard a big bang, next thing I know I'm in the water, and wondering where I am. Soon became obvious it was Albany. Dave arrived to see how I was, and has been keeping an eye on me ever since. Thanks Dave.
Sorry Anita, no idea of what I hit. Not even sure if the bang was fin against object or mast/boom against my head.
