Fangyland with a good sized mob by the end of the day. I was dead set keen to get on the water after managing to miss most of the sessions of late. So much so, I had used up all my go-go juice by the time the breeze really filled in. Brain was saying enjoy while it lasts, body was saying you are on reserve tank matey. I started making more mistakes, so eventually my brain relented and let my body sigh with relief as I went in, even if it was still a bit earlier than I would have liked.  But no complaints from me, blue skies, flat water and a good chin-wag with Maree J.Laughing

Lumpy goodness at Novara, wind of course stronger when I got there faded when I got changed into my happy clothes, still a few nice squirts over the lumps and bumps.

Smoke from the bushfire knocked the crap out of me.

A great arvo at the Fangy farm with some wind and a lowish tide, so there was plenty

of smoooth and weed. Went out with a floaty board with a smallish fin ,but started having some problems.

I had managed to crack the fillet and the board was drifting sideway for some distanse. Whent in to change

fin and thought I'll change boards allso. After that things went well enough.

So, had the 48 muffin top board with ka kon 5.8 and El/50 17cm weedy.

On arival wind looked good for the 6.6 even though Boz had rigged a 5.7 what would he know. Spent too much time trying to out yap Boz but failed, by then wind was honking, you know it is when the Bozinator comes back in and changes harness lines, fin and pulls out the downhaul winch. I tried to sail but lost interest straight up, a better man would re rig but that aint me Laughing

Nice to catch up with Boz, Hardas, Mike and Barry so not all bad.

A bit of a frustrating start. Snapped a harness line on the first run. Thanks to Fangy for the spare line. By the time I sorted it out the wind was backing off. Nice to be back on the water after a busy November.
