Long Reef, NSW, AU. 14-24KNn SE'er. Fanatic 95L Sky Free TE, Unifoil Vyper 190/830/14+2. Duotone Dlab Unit 6.0m.

Worryingly light when I arrived, about 8-10 wings out the back but nothing on the inside. Set up slowly, eventually decided to head out and spent 20 min trying to get to the windline. On the light side but managed to get up a c ouple of times. Then the Southerly kicked in and the wind ramped up, followed by a massice rain dump. Quite ethereal out the back. The rain pelting bouncing off the water, greating a mist layer and flattening outb the wind ripples. Then the wind gusts started spiking towards 25 kn, the 6.0m rattling on the back edges. Good 1m swells though, so much fun cruising down.

Once agan, a bit bemused by the 2s speed. Garmin showed 17 kn.
