Brightwaters jetty , NSW, AU Duotone 6.8, 115 falcon, select v max 35 Wow how good is a pointer fin felt sooo much better than the shit shallow weed fins I was using at LG. Went faster in less wind in open chopped up water than I did at LG only change the fin. Board felt great again. All weed fin manufacturers need to get on a pointer and really feel what it’s meant to be like.

Rathies, NSW, AU 4.7 Panther 1250. Once again the perfect combo. So much fun. Big wind variations (strength and direction). Just me by my lonesome.

Mungo Brush, NSW, AU - Funky weather. Waited for mobdog to come and give it a crack with me. Wind dissapaited very quickly, or was never there. Not sure.
Tried f-race 120ltr with 44cm g10, not too bad but quickly the big bus JP SLW 165 was needed. Used Sonntag SLR 47cm with it.
Ezzy Lion 7.5
Didnt even get my harness wet. Nice cruise.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU

Formula 159 Flow 1500 North 4.6

Another bonus. All things come to those who go.

Not as smoth as yesterday but great fun. Not as much flying either. Waves still a bit big so I kept it low so as not launch from the waves.

Just me with the bay to myself and the jellies. Helped several procreate.

Sail no 11- The Spit Lake George, SA, AU - sailed 2 - 6pm

 10-15kts then 15-19kts SSE

12/10 fun Tongue outTongue out

Started out with the big gear 7.5m Turbo- RS4 ( 112ltres) - 24cm Atomic for an hr

Cripes the big gear is slow and heavy! The turbo is really slow to rotate even being pro active. I think I got the alpha with that.

I didn't want to wear myself out with the big gear so came in and rigged the 6.5m Turbo- RS2 ( 90ltre) - 22cm Atomic

The wind obliged nicely. By now it was too choppy for me to get any decent speeds ( 6"' rollers) but I had a ball trying!

Several nm runs. One really powered up but I think it probably included my slow bit across the top. I got  some killer gybes for me!

I can go home now..LaughingI think I was a bit too upright and need to keep lower but

I don't usually do a gybe at the end of the bearaway but I was getting nicely planing ones.

A few new things today.I've had to push the boom away preflip before but today I had to really push it or it would have backwinded me. Must have been going faster than the windspeed.

Also first time ever I flew into the gybes , planed through and the sail was exactly where I needed it to be to grab and keep going.Cool

I think I need to do more wider bearaway ones. No good for alphas but boy they feel good!

I'm getting more confident. A week ago I wouldn't have been game to go for it in that chop with the 22cm fin. It only let go once going upwind and I was tired and sailing like a sack of spuds.

There was one flat spot but not much wind in it.

Got to 50kms and thought I'd try for 60..then thought 75 is a nice number . Did 83 to make sure I got the 75. I could have kept going but the wind was starting to get patchy, my big toenail was very sore and I couldn't be bothered.

I think I'll pay for this after the adrenaline wears off..Laughing Double painkillers tonight.

Tone, Paul ( Tassie), Chris and Gabe, Jimbob, Ian , Clive and assorted others.

What a great day! I love this place.
