706 days ago Point Grey, WA, AU CA63 Loft RB 5.6 Pepe delta 21.5 Arrived 11:00 to a fresh breeze with a slightly high but dropping tide and cloudy. Boz, Flex, Dan and Steve were already out and had been for some time. Rob and the Shroom arrived just before me then Gloria and Tim not long after. Gloria and I had some lunch. Boz, Jim and Dan and Steve came in. We rigged in a dry period but were expecting - and got squally frontal rainy weather as we were launching. I had a couple of runs and was just starting to settle in. But then the wind swung around to the west and that, as they say, was that. Tim and I came in just as a big squall hit. Gloria was stuck down wind and Rob and the Shroom were way over the other side. The swing west was two hours ahead of the forecast. Early birds got the worms today. It had great promise but didn’t delver for us latecomers. All the same, Enjoyable and great to be with friends doing my favourite thing.
