Point Grey, WA, AU CA63 LoftRB5.6 ANW20 Another rain free pleasant winters Boombas session. tide was near perfect and breeze was fairly consistent. The odd fresh gust made for some nice downwind runs and the frequent weed burgs increased the pucker factor by an order of magnitude. Only downside of the day was Steve having to call it early with a crook knee. Mend quick Steve! Enjoyed the rest of the session with Jim and Mike. Gloria was nowhere to be seen...

Best sessions for a few months, used the 55 6.2 and 25@40/60

Flex was flying around when I arrived at Boombas and Waricle and Nauli were rigging.

I had trouble with my home made winch, so wet the rope and pulled as hard as I could without it.

Must have been close because it felt good.

Flex was up near the point, so headed towards him. Good move because he guided me through the weedbergs into flat water.

Flates water I've had for months and I really enjoyed it, but a bit nervous of all the weedburgs around.

Most of them clearly visible, but the odd one submerged.

When everybody else went in, common sense kicked in, so I r4esisted the urge for one or two more runs and headed back to the cars. That's when I discovered how much the tide was going out. I grounded several times and according to the boys on the beach made some entertaing splashes.

Finaly got the head GPS working again, the problem was a dicky on/off switch, creating several short unreadable files.

But now I have to fix the winch.
