At last! This was one of the best afternoons. Sunshine,  warm water and 9-15 knots of wind. Only 3-4 of us out there but TERRIFIC  conditions.

5m gator - WT57 ( 90ltre) - 24cms WT weedy

 + 5.7m gator for a few runs but too over the top.

Yeeha! Best sail in years..total buzz doing speed runs in the bumps.

I was underpowered at 1st with the 5m so i rigged the 5.7m but it had come in so back out with the 5m.

I don't usually use the fast gear in over 20kts but there were rollers so it was a little more regular ( although still bumpy ). Bearing off maxed out crouched low and hoping a big gust didn't wipe me out.. Had a couple of tailwalks.

5 x 10 is my 2nd best for the lake.

I think I'm improving. I rigged small for the gusts and thought ' Where's the old Sue ? - she's now a whoose..."  I came good though . the old Sue is back as long as it's deep water.

 Got all my gybes out in the middle. Non planing and I grabbed the mast but they were dry. The small sails help but I think something has clicked.. Hopefully I will continue ok.

 Just me and wingers. Andrew called in for a visit as I was derigging.

 Still buzzing..
