Raymond Terrace, NSW, AU. Oh bugger, dud session. Gusting 30kts, my smallest sail 5.3. Westley yoyo wind made much worse by bridge turbulence.
Plan was to get to the downstream side of the bridge. After watching Peter, a very good wave sailor, negotiate it, i decided not. Current and zero wind inside the pylons and smashing on the other. Very entertaining seeing him do that.
Box half ticked, i'd like to try again, maybe in light winds on big board.
One piddly little run and i somehow managed to cracked the nose of my board to put a damper on things.
Anyway, could have been worse.
No dead cows.
It's been a long time since i've had a dud session so that's ok.

This is Peter's aka Wendal's track. He did super well. Been 30 years since he's tried the bridge challenge.
He said last time he turned up there, like 30 years ago, there was a bunch of sailors there. He was on 4.5 and wave board today.

I'm still not sure if it could be a good spot as we didnt get a good crack it today.

Fisho's report that it's well deep right up close to to the bank. It is certainly perfectly flat there, not sure how much the low land is affecting it yet as we didn't really get there.
