Mungo Brush, NSW, AU. Super sweet longboard sail. I didn't hesitate to go straight downwind out of the glass under the trees where people were skiiing, out toward the middle.
I had faith there'd be wind out there. There was wind enough. Getting back was the next issue. I hoped it might have went more north east than east and my job would be easy. But it didn't. The centreboard made short work of the trip home which was a pleasant surprise.

5-12kts E Coal point

5th Wing attempt followed by fin

Wing - 130 F One - 5m Mataador - 1800 Naish

I was worried about winging at Coal in case I couldn't stand up and ended up being blown to Wangi.Undecided

I went really well..Cool

I managed to stand , turn and get back to the start.. It was pretty light when I 1st went out and a bit of a balancing act. By the time it kicked in I'd been out 40 mins and  was pretty buggered. I found the lumpier chop at Coal exhausting.

It started to foil 2 x. Both times I didn't really know what was happening , got the wing too far forward , headed off downwind and fell off the back. I was too tired to persevere. Probably best to try at a flatter location like Teralba or Marmong until I get my head around it.

Now I know what to expect I'll wait a till it's a bit stronger before I go out so I can work at foiling while I'm fresh.

2sec Pb - 7.2kts  but only about 2kms ( 43mins). They are the conditions I bought it for. Once I get my act together it should be good.

It looked like it was coming in so I rigged the big fin kit .

 125 Tabou Bullit - 7.5m Turbo - 38cms tectonics weedy.

 then WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics weedy

The 125ltre  was pretty good. I was only planing slowly but it was good in that wind.

I thought it was getting stronger and the WT is more fun than the Tabou powered up so I changed to the 112ltre WT64.

Bad move. There wasn't enough to get going..

I'll have to have a play with the Turbo. I need to get the cams to pop easier so I can waterstart and uphaul easier with them the right way up. Undecided

Andrew, Nic , Gert and John  on wings , Greg on windfoil.
