Stanley, TAS, AU, Sailed with VT today which was great. A much more challenging sail than yesterday. Wind WSW gusting to 40

To start with we rigged too big. Had one run on the 55 with a 6.5 for an uncomfortable 40.

Went in and changed to the 5.5 and the 47, this was really nice but at one stage I stood there and watched it white out for about 5 min.

Then 3 fisherman turned up and spaced themselves down the run. Had one really good run for a 42 10 sec

Stanley, TAS, AU

Quite challenging sail with Cookie but it was a great expirience. Was not strong wing at the begining so rigged a big gear (Patrik Race plus  7.0 with Tribal  apid 53). Wind picked up to 40 knots, could not contol the gear at all and ended up changing to KA 5.2  with Tribal 53 and C 23. Took a while to get back and derig the gear at those conditions. Did couple of runs but still did not feel the gear and the run properly. Fishermens were not helpfull as well

Well done Cookie.  I can't believe fishermen space themselves out along the one section of sailable sand bar when there are soooo many other spots to fish!

Well done VT, West Inlet is a challenging place to sail, so you did well!
