Coodanup, WA, AU After yesterday's mistake I had to try to redeem myself! Very shallow so was kinda scared to give it full speed after the massive face plant yesterday. Wish I could have stayed out longer...maybe next time. Great company as usual. Carbon art 66, 5.5 Turbo, fangy fin. 😎

Hillaries wall - 3.7m zeta sail and 720cm2 foil - only used the foil for the first time yesterday so given how windy it was thought I would just start on it today. Was really nice and smooth - didnt really notice any issues compared to the 920. Normal hillaries weed issue but was spread out enough could avoid most of it.

Nice to have a go on the magic carpet ride again. I mostly kept out of the smooth to bang out an hour without having to push too far upwind on the port tack. Was hoping the wind would fill in a bit more but so I could have some fun on the greens but in the end I could have done with a bit more wind. Happy with the hour considerin a dropped gybe and lack of oomph in the sail.  I was a bit late to the party and not fully powered up on the 6.2 but wasn't keen on hunting for parking a Melville. It looked like the tide was dropping but I'm pretty sure the weed was growing taller as the sun got lower and the tide slowly came in. Good to catch up with Gloria and Pete.

Sorry, I couldn't post results from Safety Bay today as my GW60 died after 3 years service. No easy replacement as the Motion is out of stock (on the email notification list) and looks like the GW60 is no longer available. I could see my results till the end of the day and was sitting at 5x10 of 30.5 and 2 sec of a low 32 so was one of my better runs, which is a bummer. The watch has still got a display but the buttons aren't working and the data file is corrupted. Has likely drunk some water as could see some condensation on the screen.

Sorry to hear that Topcat. Murphy's law says you scored a couple of PB's today.

Could try bag of rice to dry it out and letting the battery run flat then recharge to restart the watch. Good luck!

I've just taken the leap of ordering teh parts for a DIY GPS.

There's a lot more info in the sea breeze forums.

Lovely hour, Snickers.

Congrats on a top 5 %x10 Gloria. Onward and upward.

One of these days I will have time to come and join you. Soon I hope.

The buzz of seeing your home made GPS work is better than a PB.
