Liptons 15 tpo 25kts SSW, 40cm Tide, I thought it was ideal conditions.  However the run was only 200m today, and the run in was even choppier, once you hit the flats it was acceleration plus but you vitutally had to pull out of the run after 5 to 8 seconds as it got too shallow.  I have to officially call it now, Liptons is no good for high speed speedsailing this season, not worth wasting your time, I live 2 km's away and less than 5 min drive so I still might dabble and check point grey out, but, Nah its No Good.

Firstly Hugest thanks to Waricle, for saving this silly old Bastard!!!!.

Forgot to put my masts back on the roof after leaving car at airport for 3 weeks.

So Waricle very kindly rigged his green 5.6 thingy.

Wind seemed enough for the 47, so I went with that and the 19cm Deltoid.

Was nice in the gusts, but my lack of fitness killed me in the lulls. I wasn't getting any speed, so opted for less wear and tear and a longer sail.

Changed up to the 55, this was heaps better, much less energy spent getting going and sailing through lulls. Even managed to go 5kts faster than I did on the smaller board.

Tried a NM, but found the start too choppy for my fitness level, had to ease of until I hit some smooth, then I spun out, with an empty tank. Had to call it quits there, just managed it back up the beach with Petes' sail. Looking forward to a long nights' sleep

Partik 100, NP RSR E-XV 6.5m, Nemesis 30cm

Late start after being out at Narogin and williams with my Chickybabe.

Pleanty of breeze at Novara, plenty of chop, bit more coodinated than yesterday.

Short session again but lots of fun trying to send it over the junk.

Starting to get my head around this sail.

Good session with lots of seedy or weedy types. Waricle spent the day being general cheerleader and somehow, Decrepit's board and kit bitch. I was shamed into remembering my Motion by Pas, but have now suffered a bad remission of lazy, and so it will probs stay in the trailer for a day or so yet. In the meantime, don't lose sleep over the data it holds. I was trying out a prototype FF17 with a bulb. It was absolute rubbish. I struggled with it for a while, but every time I got over 30 knots it would immediately try to kill me.  I came in and nailed in a more conventional fin design 3D print, which was stellar by comparison. But alas my forearms were quickly cooked from efforts of the last couple of days so I had a chucked in before I regretted it. Possibly even a Top Ten Fangy Day.
