waricle (18917km): Albany, WA, AU CA62 LRB 5.6 Fangy 19 Cloudy Moderate to fresh breeze, less than yesterday. Very low tide all day. We expected more breeze than yesterday but it didn’t deliver. Had a good session after getting off to a shaky start. Called it fairly early when the breeze turned light. Joined by a couple more locals later in the afternoon. Another great Albany session with great people. | ||||||||||||||||||
Rob (5640km): A magical sail at Boomba’s KAR 7.9 Patrik 115 Pepe 21. Driving in I could see the water depth was only swan knee deep. I was not sure if it was sailable but thought I would give it a go. I only hit a couple of times when starting otherwise the depth was fine. No weed burgs but loads of nice weed out in front of Austin Bay. The water was pancake flat from the car park to the deeper water on the other side. There where hundreds of swans in the shallows and large flocks of pelican’s eyeballing me as I sailed past. Plus, heaps of stingrays and mullet whizzing around. |
