Yamba, NSW, AU. JP SLW165, Ezzy 7.5, 47cm Sonntag fin. Bucket list strike mission while there was rain at home and gotta let my shin rest from overdoing it last week, maybe bad stance / balance on foil caused shin splint Surprised
I'm told appropriate speed here is double the wind. I think i got that today, very light.
Rendevous with Glynn and Sue and meet a few locals.
A very smooth patch of water caused by current at the bottom hole in the wall was a nice sensation.

NE 5-20 knots. FFF200, Neil Pryde V8 8.2m, Axis 1099

No racing due to lack of wind at 12pm. Went out around 2pm expecting 10 knots max.

Bobbed around for 40 minutes until gusts came through allowing some fly time.

Wind filled in and flights were more regular.

Went in for a cool down while others rigged up.

Made a downwind run from Legges Camp to Mungo Brush (about 3km) and saw a dolphin. Watched for a little while and headed back upwind where the Jibe Master and Barry were powering along.

Wind increased to similar conditions as Saturday but not as extreme.

Watched Mick get picked by a gust and thrown like a Rag Doll (Foil above Sail).

Special thanks to Ian for all his help and his dedication to the Club even though he is injured and has sailed once in 6 weeks.

A great weekend and just enjoyable to be around like minded people who are highly skilled but down to earth as well. A rare combination.

Nice report Kev. Sounds like a good wrap up of a good time. One of these years i'll get there and meet everyone.

Ian is a legend, hope his leg heals soon.
