Patrik 100, NP RSR Evo-XV 6.5m, Nemesis 30cm.

Fun start to the session when I discovered that I had broken my boom head in my stack 18/12, had sailed five sessions that way wondering why it felt all sloppy? glad I found it before it finished my handy work.

Bit of faffing around settting up a boom I haven't used for a couple of years.

Wind was forecast to be coming in solid later so I went out about 2pm so as not to get my freckle handed to me.

Was quite nice out though holey and with quite a lot more junky chop than normal.

Worked my way up wind as much as I could be bothered and sent it on a naughty, took a bit to get going but once hooked in I was reasonbly well powered, bit of fun trying to pick a line over the junk to minimise the air time, ended up sailing past the chanel marker before sending it up wind a bit.

Got a bit hairy thereafter as I gumbied (APU) the gybe and fell in when I looked around there was a dirty great cruiser bearing down on me, try as I might there was not enough  wind to get me up on the board even with my digestive tract operating like a JATO. The cruiser missed me by about 20m, ignorant shit didn't even slow down. Elmo's curse on them!

After that I was a bit rattled so just did shorter runs, got some nice speed.

Board and sail felt realy weell balanced today for the conditions, well happy

Coodanup, WA, AU CA66 LRB 5.6 Fangy22 Sunny, fresh breeze, nice tide. Sailed with Gloria after fiddling and farting about. Still a bit worn out after the Albany drive. Just about perfect conditions fora nice afternoon session. Good fun.

A bit of TOW.

Sort of rigged to forecast. 5.7speed on the 60cm new board. Tried a 20cm@40-60 first, but it felt a bit wishywashy, not enough traction. so changed to the 22@40-60, this felt much more comfortable.

But too choppy for me to get any speed.

Yet, another wonderful day on the water withsome wind and other sailers scooting around , at fangys , coodanup .

I dont think the wind was up to forcast but it was fast enough to rattle the back teeth .  ??

All went well with me and my gear , the old 48 wide slolum,I think , ka kon 5.8 , and  El55-20cm weed.

      Cool
