Great sea breeze today

Good breeze S 18-20kts

No weed spotted anywhere, sign at 5 Mile apparently 200m dry.

Light chop over most of the lake, flat ripple areas off the Spit for speed runs but why flat given no weed. Noticed very watery mud just below surface in these areas but may have been caused by me stopping, felt like weed when you put hand under. Most folk ran 6.8 - 7.0 and 100L. Find having to go back to get GPS stuff not good for humour but at least enough wind to power close to shore and avoid mud walk. Incidentally my M4 is safely stored in a spot where I would not forget it. Probably around a dozen out so sailors increasing. Locals comment on the status of the lake and how it has affected numbers, Beachport very much appreciates the wsurf fraternity in February.
