16 days ago sonic 85 then is111, 6.2K, 22FF 8 - 12 kn wind gusty
keen to catch the lowest tide I headed out early, but between the weed drag and the light wind it was a hard slog to get going.
I changed to a bigger board which was much better but still no good speeds, so I decided to rest my foot and come in.
As the tide rose it became easier to get going but I was tired from the earlier slog so called it early to preserve my foot, and in the hope that I may have some energy tomorrow.
I was happy with acouple of alphas of 17kn when my top speed was only 21 and 22 kn. Just needed a bit more wind!
