Albany.  It was a day of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. There were some good gusts but I was never up wind and able to take advantage when they came, so overall, a disappointing session. I felt I should have been able to do better. Tried 3 boards and one sail. The wind dropped after I had rigged the sail and I was underpowered for all but the strongest gusts. Not enough wind for a decent alpha at first, and by the time the wind booted in again my arms were too cooked to sheet in properly.

5.4K -too small, 5.8 would have been nice. is111, 85 Sonic and M47. M47 was really too small and hard to get going most of the time. nms were on the 47

First nm forgot to release the outhaul - doh! went up to the top for a second and was becalmed up there. Eventually I gave up waiting for a squall and set off. The second nm was even slower than the first. and then, when I was at the bottom of the run, the squall hits! 

It was however a relatively big distance day for me - that is the furthest I have sailed since December 2022
