10-19kts ENE- NE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - level 0.3m

 7.5m Turbo - RS4 ( 112ltres) - 24cms FF

I had to finish early and it was only blowing 10-15kts when I went out. By the end a 6.5m on the 90 would have been good but I didn't have time to change down so I just luffed the big sail. Not a bad 2 sec for the fat fin and big gear. My PB is 30.8kts.

Nice, sunny and fun. After LG Budgy seems pristine..Laughing

Mike and Bruce came out after I'd been out for a while. I'm surprised at the distance. The distance field on the watch wasn't showing.

Last sail for at least 6 weeks..Frown

Jimmy's beach, nsw. Surprised there are no bigger numbers there. It felt like the best i've sailed the place ever. And that felt great.
Happy to have progressed to the point where i can sail Jimmy's well. I don't think it is an easy place. Currents, waves, offshore wind etc make it tricky. Today i went to the limits. Out near Yaccaba is risky, mess up and you are gone in outgoing tide but i was comfortable today. All alone. No boats, no people anywhere.

Started on patrik 120, Ezzy Lion 7.5, 40cm and did 30k on that out wide in the chop.
Switched to JP 165, 7.5, 47cm sonntag to get in close for flat water.

Sweet gybe practice, found that lifting on the outboard strap in gybes helps heaps. Forgot about that.

Mr T put his head up for a chat. I reckon his head is 50cm wide. Beast.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU

FFF200, Neil Pryde 6.4m Mk6,Axis 799 & 1099.

Went with small foil first up expecting the prediction to be accurate but struggled the first hour with lots of dead patches.

Never really caught up to Mick. Baz and Lyndon were men possesssed as they flew across the bay continuously.

Went back in and changed to the big foil and the breeze had increased a little and filled in and it was all go from there.

Much easier with the big foil being able to get through the lulls and still controllable in the gusts.

PB for the last hour and top 5 for distance.

Had a flyby from the Red Bull plane.

Not very high off the water.

He must still be learning because he has trouble going in a straight line.
