Miranda (10908km):  3 categories    Greenpark Huts, SB44,SevOD5.5, WB21, first time on Lake Ellesmere this season.Dan told me I had to get closer to the sandbar to go faster so I did, then thought, whoops that bit looks a bit shallow, just before my fin hit the bottom at 31kts.Checked my body.then the sail. then the fin.No damage anywhere so back into it.Happy my 10sec was over 30kts.Been a long time since I went this fast. | ||||||||||||||||||
Dan (49919km):  6 categories    Greenpark huts. Or what's left of the huts. Iwi kicking everyone out so our access mite be cut too. Quite disgusting what they doing really. That enough ranting on the subject..I could go on...but the sailing was good as per usual out here. Very broad angle so not the most comfortable bearing off. Bit holey at the start and then filled in to 20 to 25 knots. The 6.2 was a good choice but the 5.3 would of been good by the end. Bonus sail as I was only in chch for one night. Big stack by Miranda.
