2 days ago Shortest session ever I think, way too choppy for me. It was much too hard work for this old body, not fun, and just too scary. Tried just sticking to the troughs but couldn't stay in them, almost got air going over the back of some steeper ones.
Used the 5.7. 60cm board and 23cm@40/60. The fin actually behaved itelf really well, but I just haven't used it enough, in conditions like this to trust it not spinning out. the chop was quite steep and the chance of the board tripping with a spin out is another unkown.

Short blast, perfect setup but fitness was crap, I called it early as I just couldn't see the point. Nice to catch up with everyone, a Gloria hug makes it worth while.
CA SL87, 27 TWS, 5.7 Koncept and a claytons rubber a thermal rashie.
