14- 25/28kts WNW Peely Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 0.38m

5m Mach2- RS1 ( 80ltres) - 20cms Atomic

1st time posting from my Garmin 255. I wore my mini Motion but it ran out of battery halway through.

More consistent than yesterday and very strong at one stage.

I tried one gybe and succeeded but ended up balancing on the fin on the bottom after the rigflip so I didn't bother again.

I've never had a decent nm run with wind the whole way. For once the wind started after about 300m but I stuffed around for 100m trying to get game enough to move my rear foot ands get it in the strap. Laughing Finally got going and had an ok run down although too choppy for great speeds.

At one stage I was thinking of coming back and gettingf my 90ltre but I'm glad I didn't as it really kicked in.

By then I was cold and really maxed out so I called it quits. I probably could have got a better speed but I want to get sailing fit safely first.Smile

I watched the hotshots doing bearaways to the N of the point but I'll try that another day.

Cripes it was cold and tomorrow is supposed to be colder! Looking forward to a day off siting in front of the fire. Laughing

Hopefully Tuesday will be a moderate to start practicing gybes..Tongue out

Byron , Matt , Greg F , Mitch , Greg K , Mick H , later  Bruce and Mike and some others. The hotshots should have some good stats ..

Jimmy's beach, nsw. JP 135, 4.5 Ezzy, flow 900
Bummed out in the morning that it was too strong and no good water locally (except off the beach, offshore, above paygrade). Mobdog and I were going to try foiling but 30kt gusts so we canned it. Later it backed off to about 10-18kts and he was keen so we tried it. Success. Felt wild, good.
