The Shroom (824km):
16 hours ago FINALLY a day that there was wind that occurred when I wasn't at school/work! Rocked up to Boombas just as everyone was leaving to Heron. Decided to sail there anyway because I wanted to sail my favourite spot before I go away on Monday, turned out to be a solo sail as Rob was outta action. Rigged up the 4.4 Koncept and my freestyle wave, just for a quick spin (literally I was spinning out every run.) Decided changing a fin was to much of a hassle so I got onto my Isonic slalom (Thanks Pete for selling me that board). Slightly better as it was a Fangy but a very sliddey day. Came in for a bit as I managed to rip out a harness line. After swapping lines I went out again this time as I was on my speed bearing I spun out, got harness flung, slammed into the icy water, and jared my neck. I untangled myself and checked my shoulder for any injuries as it felt a bit strange, so I thought to myself, "A good over powered, spun out run back will do wonders for my neck". Called it in the carpark because it hurt. As I rigged down I saw Ben.
This Solo sesh was powered by: KA Koncept 4.4, Jp freestyle wave, Starboard Isonic Slalom, and a Starbucks flat white (3/10 raiting for the coffee)

Swung past Coods but nobody there so headed to Boombas despite the impending switch and fade. Arrived to Booombas to Rob and the shroom heading out. Plenty of wind and choppy due to storm surge. Radar showed the rain and Westerly was not far off but I figured I would get a quick sail in before the switch and fade. Rain hit as I'd finished rigging. Went for one leg to back up the Shroom, but was looking like it could get dicey to be out alone. Looking forward to tomorrow.
