4 days ago Sick session out at Boombas! Started off today with a coffee and high hopes for a beautiful white out. Rigged up the 4.4 Koncept, and my Isonic slalom. First few runs I was sliding out. Decided to change to a bigger fin, a pointer actually. This stopped the sliding out heaps and got some good runs. Managed to squeeze out my top two second peak on a non-speed fin. After sailing around for a little bit, a giant squall hit with probably 35+ knot gusts, absolutely euphoric to be in such a white out. To start the squall off I had a gnarly harmess fling that resulted in me doing most of a forward loop underwater (I am being serious, it was nuts!) Took me about 3 minutes just to get the sail into a good spot to start. Got a massive air (unintentionally) and crashed. I was out the rest off the squall, and I came in and called it as I made my old knee injury, play up. All in all a fun day! 🍄
