Nice Fangys session, moderate Westerly wind, lowish tide and plenty of weed. Direction not ideal for a good bear away along the weed, but enough for a 2s, 10s were harder to get, unless you're good in a bit of chop.

Started with the 55cm board 5.7 Speed and 17@55 deltoid.

Fairly well powered in the gusts, but the 17 fin isn't good in the 55, I was colecting a lot of weed. So changed to the 20 @40/60. This had a bit more drag across the surface weed, but felt better without the weed moustache.

Unfortunately the new down haul device wasn't much use, not enough travel so for a start I just went with what I could get by hand, had another go when I changed fins, with everything wet I got enough more to improve the sail. So altthoug the wind was dropping, I had a better sail

Coodanup, WA, AU CA63 LRB 5.6 ANW 20 cloudy windy and nice lowish tide. Sailed with Gloria, Maree, Basil, Dave, Mike, Ant, Boz, Mark and Jim. A primo Coods arvo. Muggins here left the speed board at home. Who cares, not I.🤙
