Point Grey/Liptons bad news, poor weed coverage.  Sailed with Simon who was doing much better than me.  I tell you what returning to Windsurfing after 6 weeks of Wingfoiling, is like going from palying with your young toddler grandchildren to wresting a gorilla.  Wingfoiling weakens you, windsurfing keeps you strong.  You've been warned!

Simmer Slalom Board 96L 62 wide, Simmer SCR 6.3m Pepefoil 21cm

PS. To all the geniuses who drive over the Dawesville Bridge and say how flat Point Grey looks = WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!

Motion is flat, so just charging it up to download and pick up all the jellybeans coming my way. Pretty sure I had some 40's. I should have asked Waricle if I had a 40 because he is the undisputed champion judge of what a 40 looks like.

Apart from the impending diabetic crisis from my forecast jellybeans, today was a lovely little taste of summer. Lots of water, lots of weed, lots of teeny crabs and some sweet little runs down the inside bank. I played around with some new fins and rearranged the tip shape on them with unplanned introductions to the real estate or bits thereof. It's too early to draw any conclusions as to what is a lemon or lemonade. It would be helpful if from here on in, Huey turns up to party a little more often.

A pretty decent mob of punters on the water so I reckon you would have to call it an early season contender for a Top Ten Fangy Day.

Another great Fangy session, with the man himself giving me his royal wave.

Lots of sailors enjoying the sunshine flat water and moderate wind.

The one kiter wasn't so happy, luanched at the shore in front of the trees, guess where his kite ended up!

I took a leaf out of Boz's book and rigged the 5.7 speed very bagged out. plugged into the 60cm board, firtsly with the 20cm@40/60.

That worked ok in the gusts, but was a struggle in the lulls. So changed to the 20cm@55 deltpoid. this worked really well for the first run, then it had a huge weed moustache. so changed that for the 23cm@40/60. This worked well as long as I stayed out of the weed bank.

Tide was about right for running along the weed bank on the inside, wind direction was good enough to get back to run start without tacking.

All together a very enjoyable seesion.

My first go on wing today in sea breeze and i thought that, that it was too easy, and that i better get back on the gorilla before it's too late, so that's what i did, and milked the place dry.

Oh well Hardz, the high tide may have had something to do with it or you have finally sucumbed to the BCS manscaping required for winging, I don't think you realy need to go as far as Bob with the anal bleaching as well.

You may be past it, over the hill(s) but you gave it a try.

Still better than I managed tonight, have to wait for my third nipple to go back into hiding
