Well that was pleasant enough. I grovelled around early on and things were looking a bit grim, but then Huey made a slightly bigger effort to get some puff inland. Some gusts of a few extra knots was enough to get the lard planing. It was also enough to entice a few others out, so there ended up being a decent mob of dubious characters out enjoying the conditions. Unfortunately, Responsible Domestic God duties cut things a bit short so had to bail.

Fun Fangy session, medium wind lowish tide.

100cm board 6.2 Koncept 20@40/60 deltoid.

spent most of the session trying to get a 30, with only 29s to show for it, then on the 2nd last run I anaged to line up a lucky gust with some fast water, to get the 32.

Tried to follow Perks down the NM run, but hit a lull at take off, was only doing 25kts, so gave the idea of a NM away. Perks just kept going.

Lots of good sailing going on, every body seemed to be having a good time, but I noticed Gloria flying around in control. Not sure if it's Waricle's or Maree's coaching that's helping.

Coodanup, WA, AU CA74 LRB 5.6 Pepe19.5 Sunny, light moderate breeze, low tide. Opted to try out a big board/small sail combo for some easy lightwind cruising and a different fin. Happy days. Another good turnup with the Tassie boys arriving later in the afternoon as the breeze picked up. All the girls and boys enjoying the pleasant Coods conditions.

Good stuff Cap'n Slow, you smashed usLaughing

The fin was a cheap as chips PLA print with dowel and epoxy internals. It's a bit smashed about, the surface is not that well finished, and its even quite warped along its trailing edge ( i let it get too hot) Overall it's the ugly duckling of the fin box but seems to perform quite well.

Nothing ground breaking Flex. I added in a cutout post printing. 240 mm chord at root. 10% thickness. I didn't really notice it was anything special on the pointing front. (Maybe just the longish board??)

ok Fangy, not actually a real fin though.., hard to say if you applied the dark arts like on previous fin....(that was cool...still trying to replicate that)...so gotta ask...where you headed/objectives/long reach goals with your experments?   In other words is there a better fin out there? For me yes
