iSonic 63 | M4 Overdrive 7.8 | Tribal Weedspeed 31

An absolute cracker of a day with a light, but nice seabreeze.  Was very keen to try the 63 with the 7.8 after using that combo in WA.  Prior to then I was always using the 7.8 on the 67 and the 7.0 on the 63, but to allow me to go with a smaller weed fin in WA (less drag) I tried the 7.8 on the 6.3.  While it worked well there, I really felt the lack of float here, as it made it hard to get up and going in what was quite a light wind and to then get speed up and power on the fin to bear off.  Still had a great sail, but would definitely preferred to have been on the 67 with a bigger fin (or even the 77).  Good to be trying the different combo's, but I think I'll stick to using the 7.0m (or less) with the 63.
