Watched the rain squall crossing the river as I was driving to Melville. Rigged in the rain and the wind died. Managed to catch a few puffs across the back of the bank

Arrived to find the WAST reminiscing about winter while I was anticipating the cloud to lift and let summer come back. Steve headed north looking for summer. Richo had packed up and was leaving with the greens supiciously decimated. On the plus side, delta not needed today and weed speeds were the go. Plenty of west in the wind, but summer returned mid afternoon. Point grey would have been interesting to sail today. Happy with the hour and alpha, my best hour for coods. Wind never really swung to the south as much as it normally does. Seemed to boot in around 6ish but by then there wasn't much smooth to play with. Evidently I need to work on my windsurfing fitness. Great to see Claude and Sammy as well as the regulars.
