Tabou Manta 71, NP SRS Evo-XV 7.4m, Elmo SS 42cm.

My mate came and took up residence before I left home, got down to Novara and Bob was flying around.

Rigged, went out, my mate was creating a ruckus, wasn't pleasant so only three runs.

Back to the car took my meds to try and evict my mate.

Not my best day.

Novara Beach, WA, AU

That was a ripper session, fun. Felt like I was doing mid 40's in the chop/swell which my gps confirmed as I had a 42 on the dial SurprisedLaughing

Sailed on my lonesome, Hardz came in while I rigged smilling ear to ear, Annie had already had a good session flying over the chop and Alby was going out as I was going in but he had a head full of pain so he called it early. Nice day, nice people, happy days.

95L Gladiator, 27 TWS, 6.6 Koncept and boardies of course.

Desperate to try out one of my tiny trapezoidal fins, I ignored reality and put up my impressively too small Avalon 6.3. The end result was, I can say with some certainty that a teeny tiny fin allows you to dog and plod into shallower water with ease. As far as planing performance was concerned, I didn't do enough of that to have any idea.

Apart from rigging like a clown and reaping the rewards, it was actually a beaut arvo to be out... but note to self, next time use the grey matter when rigging.
