8 hours ago Christchurch Estuary, NZ ..7.0 Mach4 sail felt good in a straight line, but very poor rotation (as usual) was wasting my energy and markedly detracting from gybes and Alpha's - In the Alpha above I planed all the way through the gybe and was planing 5 to 10 metres out on the reciprocal with the damn thing still inside out - I managed to yank it over. But I think the standard for a supposed slalom sail should be that it slips over on its own account at the rig flip. ..The previous 7.0 Mach2 I had was always perfectly OK, actually wished at the time I could have bought another Mach2 instead of a Mach4 ..changing seams in sails every year and claiming they are faster is total bull....
