15-25/27 kts WNW level 0.29-.3m  Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

5.5m Mach2 - Rs2 ( 90ltres) - 22cma Atomic 1st few runs then

5m Mach2 - RS1 ( 80ltre) - 16.5cms FF ( cutdown 22cm)

Rigged a smaller sail on the medium board as it was up and down. As soon as I  entered the water it died to 5kts.. Stood around for a while getting cold and decided to try and go. More wind than it looked!

Acres of flats.

It kicked in and was scarily strong with that combo. I risked a run but only got 29.9kts so I went in and wasted a lot of wind rerigging 5m - 80ltre.

Got the 2 sec on the 1st run.

 It was a 2 poo run..terrifying..Laughing

The board felt like it wasn't in the water and I felt like I was going to get launched over the front.

I was expecting a Pb or 35/36kts so I was disappointed in the 2 sec..It's not bad for me though.. With that amount of power and flatwater I should have got more.. Probably slowed down by going through the weedbergs.

A long walk up to enough depth to start and a long wait for enough wind. A few more runs and I went in to get the 90ltre - 5m combo..

It kicked in big time so I went backout on the 5m - 80 with the lower clewhole in use and mastfoot further forward. Still scary but controllable..only a few more runs and another long walk out..zzz

Greg F and Mike should have some good distance. It looked like thay were having fun drag racing across the wind.

Greg F , Mike and I from 7th, Greg K . Matt , Byron? and a few others from Brandon lane area.

Great nm and session Greg. It would have been better for me launching at Peely for a nm.

Those gusts must have been before i came out. 7.7m was the perfect size out there today!
