i never seem to learn took out the speed board , spent 1.5 hours on the water and could not get going

every time i jumped on the board it sunk and the sail kept pulling me across the front

a bigger board would have floated and given me time to get going  without the sail pressure on my hands

i was alright on the speed board with the moto sails but the race sail had way too much pull on take off

Great day with a fantastic turnout of sailors...wind good, tide not too shallow, and sunny! I was not in control today and felt overpowered a few times, sail size ok, just me being a Gumby! But everyday on the water is a good day and looking forward to the next one! Fox105, S turbo 5.5, Fangy fin. If anyone is missing a waist harness, Waricle has it.

Good fun at Liptons today with some good company. I arrived to see Slowy heading out on his speed board so I decided to have a go on my mistral 47 as well. Was reasonably well behaved accross the chanel witha 23cm weedy but there wasn't a lot of water to play with on the Pt Grey side so getting back on the plane after gybing was tricky. After a bit of an effort decided there wasn't enough pressure in the sail to justify the smaller board so I switched to the isonic 87 with tws 25. Not long after getting back on the water the wind picked up a notch but I was having fun on the is so stuck with it for the rest of the session. Nice to have slowy hang around late in the afternoon to weave through the stingrays after everybody else had packed up. All scores except the naughty were done on the isonic.
