A fantastic day at Coodanup. Started on the Severn Mach2 6.2 then changed down to the KAR 5.5. CA 50.

I waited for the handicapped, geriatric matinee session and still got flogged.

Fangies, now that felt like a speedsailing session, really happy with my 5 x 10sec, couldnt get anywhere near that at Liptons with the short run there.  Nude 46 wide, 80 Litres, TR18 5.5m, (probably a bit too small shoulda uded my 5.9m, wasnt that windy.  Fin Pepefoil Delta 17.5cm, bloody good fun, hard to beat that sensation for me.

A get back into it session, stretched my arms, raised a couple of blisters and totally wore me out. Couldn't quite make it back to base on the last run, just ran out of puff.

2 sessions.

Started early Because Ronny was impatient to sample Fangys, measure 24 average 30 kt gust, so rigged the 5.7 speed and the 48cm board with 19cm deltoid. The the wind had dropped to 15 ave 24 gust. So went out with the 55cm board.

First run fell into a lull and dropped off the plane, (new 60cm 100l board should handle this much better, fingers crossed)

Wind then gradually picked bak up and by noon I was needing a rest so had lunch and changed ot the 48cm board.

This worked very well, but I had a bit more power than I could comfortably manage, (measure 25av 32Kt gusts). Of course I'd gone by the forecast and hadn't thrown the 5.2 speed in. (When will Ilearn?????)

Rob kindly gave me an extra CM of downhaul, and I gave it a bit more outhaul, that improved things a bit, but by this time I had run out of energy and strength, and had to give it away.

Fastest I've been all year though, can't complain about that.

Fangyland with a cast of thousands and a flat Motion. Oops.

The breeze was in pretty much all day. When I took the dog for his morning walk Boz was already out. I think he might have got the best water conditions as the wind was still in the ‘pleasant’ category. Decrepit and Waricle were down there soon after. By the time I wandered back home and my self sorted the breeze had kicked in several gears.

I rigged my small stuff and still lasted less time than a block of chocolate within reach. The board was good, the FF24 3Dprint was solid as a dam wall, but the Avalon 6.3 just waaaay too much for me to hold on to and I wasn’t brave enough to sheet in.

I had to confine myself to mucking about in the chop, mostly sheeted out and wondering if I should have gone blouse shopping instead.

Not the best performance from me, but it was fab watching the premier league boys put the pedal to the metal.

Stoked for you Rob excelt PB's.Cool
