Dorans nice Easterly sail with Dad. IS90, DW34, R3 7.0. Over rigged to start with but it died off all of a sudden then the 7 was a bit small. Not that flat as the tide was running in but great fun!

Another sacrifice to the wind GodsCry  After Todd a few weeks ago busted up his leg and foot

Perks decided to adjust his harness lines with his face at 35 kts Surprisedafter he headed to hospital a good Easterly 27-37 kts was enjoyed by Cookie, Ray, Barry and myself

I think this is a top 3 speed day for me.

Stanley, TAS, AU  Strongest Easterly I've seen at Stanley for a while. Was being  bit cautious, treading a fine line at times.

But the big guns were firing. Saw Perks pull off  at least one sensational alpha, and later a stack  that  was a bit unnerving to watch. Hope he'll patch up ok, after a few stitches ... a memorable day for several reasons.

Me Stanley, TAS, AU

Session started out with hassles. With battens breaking. And having to change sails after about three run in. 5.8m was probably a little too big for me. Then got very happy with a nice alpha and started to work on the other numbers. Went up for a deep off the wind run down the sand. Probably a little deep once hitting a gust. So the board rode back up towards the bank, way too close. So i steared away and lost it and went over the front. Face planted the sail and managed to breack three battens with my face, sliding up the sail. Resulting in six stitches to sew the lip back up.

Alll in all a good sailSealed

Stanley, TAS, AU, Pretty good sail with the boys today, good speeds all round. Went out on the M 112 first to try for an alpha

but it was too rough and windy with that setup. Really happy with the corner though, only did 2.

Went in and Baz said i should take the Mistral 41 out because i hadn't sailed it before.

Was a good decision because it felt really good in the chop. Didn't really enjoy watching Perks crash, but it did free up a bit of space

on the run. I am sure he will be back on the water soon (Wednesday?)

Stanley, TAS, AU Wowsers what an afternoon, and I thought twice about going, making a mad rush after work. It was quite hard work today, strong wind and rough. I agree Barry. my heart was in my mouth more than once!

Very nice corner Perks. Lucky you didn't get any splinters up your nose on the way past those batters. That 40 held nice Johno, nice 5x as well. We have too remember; for those that push the limits, sometimes we find the limits push back.
