Fun sail but choppy, hard to find flat water, loved the atonic 32 in this board and in those conditions

Great sail with Perks, Vitalli and Mort.  Too northerly for the sand bar to work, but still good fun running across the channel and into some reasonably flat water.  Only the second or third time on the 63 and it felt great.

Fox105, Ezzy 7m, Severne 36cm fin

First Post, thanks for the add. Challenging conditions for an out of condition spring sail. Had fun and finally got the Motion GPS working agian (thanks Dave). A lot of spinouts on the 36cm Severne fin. I do have a 38cm C3, will look into other options. Setting my sights on Green Island 2023, so thought I'd better get off the relaxaion of the foilboard for a bit of Heavy Metal action (as Vitalli calls it) on the fin.

Hi guys I sail in Port Douglas and sometimes Green Island NQLD. I am moving to Tasmania some time in the near future to live maybe around Port Sorell or Hawley beach. I was wondering if it is worth bringing my windsurfing gear down with me or should I sell it. Was wondering if many people still sail down that way. I have 2 severne Fox boards 105 and 120 lt. My sails go from 5.4m to 7.8m. I Am a keen sailor and sail with” FNQ MOB”any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers Ed.

Defintiely bring your sailing gear - those boards and sails will be perfect.  Two sailors here are using Fox boards.  There is speed sailing at low tide with the right direction wind and at other times and wind directions you can sail anywhere in the bay!  PM me  if you need more information (I'm AUS02 on SeaBreeze and regularly post in the Tassie section).
