fantastic day at lucky bay!Laughing

used 111 futura, 6.5 gator and 30cm weedy.

very surprised to get that speed out of the gear i was using. but im absolutely stoked to get over 30 knots at long last!Wink

had a few spectacular stacks, hitting the sand bar etc. but no injuries or damage to the gear. that gator's a bloody tough sail.

thanks jet for carrying my gps! LaughingWink

great day at lucky bay with benny the speed dude. Wink

used isonic 76 with 6.5 overdrive and 30 weedy at first but then changed to the carbon art 40 and the 20cm weedy to do all the best speeds. I've never tried the 6.5 od with the ca40 and the 20cm fin before, but i was really surprised how well it worked. the best time ive had on the ca40 since i got it.

i wanted benny to get over 30 knots and i knew that this would be a good day for him to give it a try so i shamed him into coming up into the flat (and quite shallow) area. i went for run and caught a reasonable gust and got my best speed, on the way back i saw benny sitting in the water doing nothing so i screamed at him to catch the gust that id just been through. even i was surprised at the speeds he got but im very happy that he's finally gotten over that huge milestone of 30 knots!Surprised

very well done benny, today is your day for sure.Smile

I hope Braydens face is a bit better than when we left lucky bay.He copped a boom in the face and was really lucky not to break his nose. Methinks a black eye may be coming your way Bray but where did the gravel rash come from?UndecidedWink

It was the WWA loaner unit Mark.(You know, the one you set up to read 50% higher in my unsuccesful attempt to beat JetWink) My unit has chucked a wobbler again. Will send it to Locosys when the other unit comes back.

Funny isnt it that both gt11s had to play up at the same time. The gt31 is working just fine.

Now if only you can set up Garry's unit to read 50% slower so I can stay in front of himSmile
