Worst sail of my life , 6.6m ka koncept 48 patrik , wind gusting to the south took me out into the deep water , 4kgs of weight and i couldnt get up going , had to chuck the weights to get back to sure , waves where pushing me down and cold water was not nice , by the time i got to the mud bank was stuffed and couldnt sail , good learning curve i guess . Long walk home and foot is stuffed again so will take some time out .

What a sweet combo. Love it. Sail is at the top of the board's range but worked a treat, never felt too big for the board. Very gusty, but when the gusts were in it was fun. This combo certainly has potential for the Queens mudbank in future. Short session this morning as had stuff on this arvo.
Walked in with speedboard, and walked out as no wind to sail back - that is the beauty of the new launch spot - a shallow water walk - allbeit a long walk in mud.
Sailed with MarkJ, Phil and Steve.

3795 days ago Queens Lake, NSW, AU Yeeeee-frozen- haaaaaaaaaaaaa! Great session at Queens with Steve and Adam. Mark J just leaving as I got out. Well what can I say. Used a board I've only ever used once before, and the old Red Rocket (Starboard S-Type) hammers. The slowest run was 28 knots. most 30- 32. So stoked to finally do speeds simular to the fast guys in our team. Was blowin pretty hard (25 plus at times) so used a 5.8 KA Kult. Steve was motoring across the flats and scored a new PB for his efforts- well done mate! Great session, good to have some company out on the frozen grey lake.
Bit surprised at a 19 plus alpha as my gybes were crud. The only good one was ruied by a clump of weed.
Starting early on the bourbons today

Hit Elim with Andre, Bill, Anton and Aza. Wind was WSW - SW 15-20+ K and had backed a bit since first viewing and took out a 6.0, Hawk 93 Finworks 11.5 weedy. One day I'll get on the SL79.
Rain filled in and it got pretty cold. Felt colder than yesterday.Couple of nice gusts but still felt I needed more. The hot shower at the end made it worth while though. Trust Rob is OK with his sore back from yesterday. Take a few more painkillers mate. We missed you today Rob.

6.0 GPS, Yellow Sub with a BP weed speed 28. Pretty much the same as yesterday but a bit less wind and flatter water.

3795 days ago 1 categories Great sail at Queens Lake with Mark, Adam and Phil. Sw 15-25 knots. Stayed on the mud bank today because very wild and messy in the rest of the lake. Sw to start with but went a bit more south after Adam had left,so Phil and i had a great hour of brilliant flat water with gusts to 25 knots. Great to watch Phil looking so comfortable and getting a pb after every run, well done.
F2 sx small 91l, Hsm 6.0m Gps, Flying objects 28cm weedster.

3795 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - Gusty SSW 15-30+ knots so I rigged NP 5.3 wave sail with the CA SL55 + 19 cm MUF Slalom. OK for the 1st 20 minutes or so especially in the gusts but then it started to get lighter and puffy so I was underpowered for most of the session. Came back in to rig my new HSM 6.0 GPS but forget the correct procedure and couldn't do it so I called it quits. Bugger...
Did I mention it was freakin freezing, well it bloody was; at least I did not do any head dips today! Sweet flat water again today made gybing relatively simple, which is good for all.
Good to sail with Larko, Bruce, Frothy, Milsy, Magic Mick, Pugs, Hugh and Jono.
Cheers lads.

Gusty south westerly in the river at repton. Unfort the tide was conming in most of the session which made staying upwind a chore. But got some really good gybes today so very happy.

Looked really windy so rigged my 5.0. Fisrt run out I was powered up, gybed, and that was it. Wind faded away quickly, so I came in early. Of course the wind came back once the wetsuit was off.

3795 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. Was real strong when rigging SSW 25 solid maybe even South but faded. Very inconsistant in the end. Spewin!! Spent some more time on speeed board, definately wrong choice but really starting to enjoy even semi powered. We were all at canton first then hit Seventh Ave which has proven to be a golden spot in sw/s. Good to catch up with the Cockroches and hang out with the boys. 6.6 Koncept 50l Isonic speed 18 delta. Go Marauders!!!

3795 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. Hi all, BIC 293D, 8.5 Ezzy, 24 Delta. Didn't sail well today, over powered to start I fu38ed up sail to start tried to bare off to much then wind died all in all crap really walked further then I sailed. What I found great today was the guy's, Larko for starters put the booty's on 'The glass can be half full if you want it to be' your big smile after you sailed was a cracker! Or was that the thought of 5 hot fish cocktails?
Hugh so glad you didn't get 500 knots on the BIC your glass looked full today great vibe geeza!!!
Mentor Mick cuts fully sick! As does Johnny, Wayno, Bruce always straight out, Fergo so much experience you know your having an off day when you forget to put on your harness? 'So funny man'
Cut sick everyone great bunch really so lucky!
