Dave Morehead (30117km):  4 categories Out on the formula board racing in our third round of the state titles. Went out for a morning session to get the mileage up and do a 1 hour, nicely powered up with an 11m (12-15 knots). By the time the racing was to start though the wind had dropped to a gusty 8-12 knots. Four races later the wind dropped completely, with some sailors having to be towed back by the safety boats. Despite the light winds, the racing was some of the best we've had, with picking shifts the name of the game. Well done to Steve Charles for winning on the day with 1, 3, 1 and 2 placings. I was planing to do 100 km, but the wind dropping to zero put a stop to that !!!    | ||||||||||||||||||
