Great all-round sessionLaughing  did everything well without any massive speeds, though not enough wind for that, strongest gust measured on wind meter was 20.4 kts, most were 18's and 19's.  I'm calling 15 to 22 kts  Gaastra Vapour 6m T1 RS 59 Lessacher Cham 23  fastest speeds on this, shows you how good it is, Went out on F2 Missile and couldn't beat the speeds even in better winds, but not really windy enough for the missile with a 93 kg pilot in winds that were gusting to 18 19, with the odd short sharp burst of 20 to 22.  But in 25 kts plus board should boogey!!

F2 SX M, NP RS4 6.2m, JP Freeride Weed G10 36cm.

Went out to have a bit of fun after a crap pain filled weekend. Wind gradually picked up throughout the arvy, could not get my act together jibing only making 2 during the whole session.

Had a good little battle with Sam for max speed, although at the end of the day methunks both Sam and Hardie have done us.

Absolutely stoked to see 34.42knots on the dial when using a 36cm weedfin the JP just keeps on surprising me.

Most of the runs were on the SX changed down to the smaller JP Slalom but pinched a nerve in my shoulder and was in agony on return journey.

Hardy was test driving Sams Small missile and looked to be quite comfortable on it, looks like he may end up being a problem childWink

A fun day.

Steve, don't panic about the fin just use it till you see me next.

Short session at safety bay before heading off to Western Force game

JP Super X 116  Koncept 6.6

tide a bit high struggled to find teabag free flat water

fixed battens in the koncept used right sized boom got it a fair bit more tuned in

What the great session we had @ Hardie, the water to be shared between only 4 of us Cool, nothing explosif but just a cruisy one with wind 15-22 knots you could use medium or small board (which I did both) and be confy either side! I know I know 15 does not sound much but when you see Hardie on a 65L and 6m full speed you think mmh ok then.

I got to test my new home made fin which I was really impressed, small by the size but big on the capacity!

mmh I am a bit disappointed with the result of my alphas, I have to check what Im doing wrong, cause we had a good Alphas session with Hardie, maybe to narrow...

It got better and better and better Smile (Navara beach, Mandurah estuary)

Arrived and rigged just as Elmo, Sam and Hardie were doing the same. Went for Screamer Concept,  Tush Raptor 5.7 and Elmo JP G10 weedie ( Laughing thanks Elmo).

Wind a bit light for the rig initially, I tried for a N mile and found wind too light. Decided to practice gybes and go for a 1 hour figure. Gybes still poor although planed from some and wind. In the flat water area I hit something hard and stropped instantly. Big catapult and sore ribs. inspected fin: absolutely no damage. I am amazed. I walked around for a few secs looing for the rock but water about 1metre deep. It took me from 22 knots to 0 instantly but maybe it was a fish or ray as the area seemed too deep for a rock ( I did wonder wherther the back had been torn off the board the impact was that hard). This was towards the end of the first hour and I sailed back to start.

Back on the water after 10 min break then sailed and sailed. Wind got better and better and water flater. Went to stop a couple of times and then gae it another run: ha dforgotten to reset trip meter so was unsure of distance travelled. Hoped for PB and made it.

A really enjoyable sail with the MH Mob, great to be on the water is such lovely conditions with such nice people.

Got home and downloaded data, analysing on GPSARpro. and found three great 2 sec speeds: 32, 37 and 39 ktsUndecided. Saw Nebs ( thanks very much Mate. Compared to Realspeed and removed the peaks. They were obviously too good to be true.)

A tip to the unaware: tick the box for doppler on GPSARpro speed results screen. That removed the rogue readings Frown. At least with the doppler selected it should not happpen again. I think I will take a look at loading realspeed as well though.
