Vicky Point, when I came, the wind was about 8 to 10 knots and everybody was leaving. I had just missed a squall with 18 to 20 knots in it. I decided to rig up my 7.6 anyway and practice my slowgybe, when another squall came and sent the board flying into me. I measured 25knots then and there and decided to rig up the 5.4 and when I had finished so had the squall. I went out anyway and got some 15+ knots gusts every now and then, but was mostly dredging and practising my slow gybes. I hope my mates up in Burrum were luckier than me with the wind.

The day before the event at burrum wind was about 15 to 23 kts at times maybe some gusts were a tad higher and  the course was tight so all the runs we had to bare of into the chop.

My new CA speed 50 did not arrive from new zealand so i was stuck on the big board for the whole event BUMMER.

My best times were done on the big stuff and two of me other times were done on Glyns speed 50 so pretty happy with the results.

Mark you were kicking ass out there today good stuff.

This was a gr8 warm up before the event after not having a good sail for a few weeks plus a good time with the team. 1st time on my CA sp50 I thought it would take a while to get use to it after comming off old Wind Actions boards but much to my suprise it felt fantastic straight away very comfortable & very easy to gybe. Thanks Pierre for the board.

Went out with the 6.8 Blade and 90lt wind was maybe only 15-17 not the forecasted 20-30 but

The wind did pick up a touch over 20knots I could have gone and got my warp speed but its a fair walk so i just stuck with the 90lt.

Great to see so many guys outSmile

Very solid set of numbers sounds like a great day. We are in the autumn doldrums here can't wait for some decent winds.

Thanks Nebs. Yes it was done at Burrum and the Nm was done on a slowish run back (i think), wish the wind was consistent down the river then anything could be possible.
