5835 days ago Awesome session in crab territory! Thanks to the GTC crew and all concerned for organising a great day. Huey was smiling on us today. Stoke factor is very high Thanks Bigdog for the loan of the fin, it was perfect for my setup.

5835 days ago Relaxing fun afternoon at Hardies for GPS team challenge prize draw. Lots of Pinnas on deck, with some great numbers. Well done to all who were able to get out on last day of month.

5835 days ago First sail at Hardies, great day out. A bit light for me until 5:00 then it filled in enough.
Kombat 79, Drake Wave, 5.8 Ezzy SE Wave.
A good day out, nice to meet so many people who share the passion. Maybe sometime I might try changing from the factory fin in the board ;-) It was the first time I have had it spin out today (at 31.2 knots I would say). Had a few times I had to stop and clear the weed I was dragging. The hardest thing was getting back up wind after hitting the run.
Hardy and team (Im not sure who else I need to thank) - thanks for this whole thing - you are all champions !!! I missed the prize draw and the race start because I was too busy having fun - thats what I call sport.
Fun factor 7.5 + 1 because my wife enjoyed it too = 8.5

5835 days ago Hardies: frustrating to start with... way underpowered for the race on 6.5. So went in and changed rig to 7.5. Wind came in and got a couple of ok runs. bottomed out a few times. It was just great to see so many people.. great to do a few runs with Chris and Patrick.
Goya 105, Ezzy 6.5 then 7.5, FO Weedster 28 then MFC 34 Weed burner.

5835 days ago GTC Prize giving at Mandurah. Loft Blade 6.8, iSonic 94, JP Freeride 31.
Top day, loads of people turned up, huge fleet for the race, very happy with how it turned out.
Surprised at my nautical mile, I guess having a big sail helps even if you're not going that broad.

5835 days ago Awesome session at Hardies! So sore and happy right now.
Well done on the PB's everyone! What a day for Pinna's!
Pulled short of a smoking Nm by a 100m. Should have followed Mark that little bit further...
Under-cooked on the 5.8, but had no choice due to available fins. Always wishing for more wind over the flat spots!
Naish SP91; Koncept 5.8; FO Weedster 260.

5835 days ago 2 categories Great session at Hardies.
Got down there after the presentation, and too late for the race.
Did a few runs on the G115 with the 6.6 nicely powered up. It filled in a bit, so I went in and switched boards to the Manta 59.
Really enjoyable session, very flat (and extremely shallow). Some really nice long powered up runs.
Didn't go deep enough long enough on my NM attempt, but still a PB, so happy enough.
Good to see a great turnout of sailors.

5833 days ago Well, some PB's at last! Well done to all the other PB getters a top day all round
Apart from my journey on to the reef at the bottom of the run. I just had to get greedy. It's all Nebb's and Bender's fault. I came in with 67 miles on the clock and they persuaded me to go out for PB distance. I thought I would try and get the 10s average up and had some good runs through the flat. On the last run the gust kept letting me go more and more broad and then grr, grr noise oh @#$% bamm! Stand up on rock in shin deep water with shredded luff pocket chewed up bent boom scratched mast and a good chunk out of the fin! Had to walk out a fair way and then gingerly sailed back in. Thanks to decrepit for helping me get the fin out of the board.
Data doppler apart from alpha.
Enjoyed the day, thanks to Nebbs and Hardie for the event.
Morning track on the Battleship at Dawesville.
