Hardie (35848km): Tried a few things today, not happy with T1RS60, no where near as good as T1RS59. Best speed on F2 Missile Gaastra vapor 6m Hybrid weed 21.5cm, too tired to talk.
Elmo (31649km): JP Slalom IV 104L & 70L, NP RS4 6.7m & NP RSR 5.8m, JP slalom 32cm & 36cm, JP Freeride weed 31cm & 36cm. Been back at work 2 days unfortuantely the forcast was sweet so I took the day of The forecast was for the wind to blow quite consistantly all day so distance was the target today unfortunately I choose the wrong fin in the first part of the session and suffered with spin out and lack of get up and went. When the wind came in it came in quickly, the 6.7 had to be discarded as it was getting a bit to exciting for my first run on my new (s/hand) 5.8m, holy shit batman WTF have I done Apart from a smaller sail size the grunt was jaw dropping. Got 34.? on the 104L but that to was getting a wee bit exciting as well, so went for the little 70L, that'a a bit easier, not having the set up dialed led to some very exiting brown trouser moments when the fin let go on some of my quicker runs, might even have some nice video of one of them. Eventualy the body told me to bugger orf and go back to shore, unfortuantely I checked my GPS for distance and found I was only 8Nm away from my PB, so against all logioc I went back out this time back on my trusty 104L. Unfortunately some knobs with kites turned up one of which decided to go do little jumps and try and cut in front of me, the abuse and the volume of the abuse which I hurled in n his direction from about 15ft away as I went past got his attention sufficiantly to turn him around. F'ken Gumbies Only downside at the end splattered a gybe (well pretty much most of them) and snapped a batton. Absolutely stoked to get a new PB, Mike was still out there when I left weaving his magic, can't wait to see his distance. Yeeeeehhhhhhaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh
Sammy the snail (29353km): I think I may have a PB , the 2 sec was really close Hardies.. first time that I am really powered on the CA44, and my fastest at Hardies too, thats about time! Great time out there, it felt great with every combo.. I wished it was not that choppy to go faaaaaaster yeaaah My slow NM shows how choppy it was!! Congrat to Mike and Elmo for the KMs mission and everyone outhere that got PBs.. today is PB day CA50 - 230/45_SS | CA44 - 220/43_SS & 245/43_SS || 5.8 RSS
Decrepit (54764km): Went for every thing today, but was specificaly after a distance PB, so I was rigged for comfort not all out speed. Thought My 2 sec and alphas would have been a bit better though. During my first break, I put the GPS in my helemet, went in with 30kts and 35nm came out with 362kts and 94nm, strangely the helmet was hooked on to the boom. Didn't see my rig go for blast by itself!
Bender (23190km): F2 SX XL, 8.4m RSS, 40LE pointer then F2Missile S, 6.7mRSSMkII,26F1 Rocked up at my local and it was a dodgy 5-15knts from the SE. had a fun hour on the big kit(max was 28knts display). It went offshore(East) so packed up. Was about to leave and it went BANG 18-25knt Southerly. Tried out the new toy. One word "SLIPPERY FAST". The angle was all wrong so was forced to sail sail dead square in knee to waist high chop. The Missile feels sweet. I look forward to sailing it in some smooth water. Very happy with its speed across the wind
Craw (4307km): 6.2 rss mk111,jp 100 ss,30cm jp fin At last a bit of wind, well gusty crap at mellvile.Started out sailing like a gumbie trying to remember how to sail in wind again then had a nice stack at 36kn nearly going thru the rig -Doh! But then managed to get some good gusts on the sandbar and get bit of a sail in before my now sore leg started cramping -bugger.Happy with the pb -not happy with the reshaped bottom panels in the sail Great work on the K's guys
