Anthony Perkins (22612km): sailed at the inlet to start with nice flat water in the morning then had lunch and headed back out to sea, tide was too low in the inlet.wind had strengthen making it very exciting sailing epecially down wind.late in the afternoon we had four slalom races fantastic fun. i may had been in front of dave a few times, but he ended up winning all four,i had to take seconds.well done dave great sailing.a good week end to finish our racing season all went out to dinner as well and had a great time. well done to all competitours this year. dave with the presure on me

Jordan Murray (9123km): Got up reasonably early to race to east inlet for basically the same as yesterday although maybe a little stronger. Time was a factor as the tide was rushing out increasingly quickly and sailors were on the edge of getting catapulted. Unfortunately a lot of sailors got out a little to late to get the best of the flat water and after ten minutes of getting out there they were packing up their gear and driving to stanley to launch off the beach into the bay. It was blowing a lot more when we had derigged and drove to stanley, so small sails were the order except for a certain few who rigged 7.5's and the like (dave). I had one run out with the 5.6 where i gybed and fell in mainly due to the extreme chop. Thoughts of the 15 ft Great White that had been seen swimming around lately were going through my head and a couple of other factors did not help me getting going again. Anyway after a few mins or so i finally got the rig out of the water and made for the beach. Rough as all hell it was, I was suprised people were actually getting their gybes. Anyway when i made the beach i decided i'd had enough due to sickness and survival and the like and decided to call it a day. 4 slalom races were held after james izaak and i got out of the water. Dave and Perk were the only ones getting their gybes around the top marks while everyone else was in the drink. Im surprised everyone made it in. Anyway an extremely good effort by everyone over a very enjoyable weekend. Oh and congrats to Dave for his win and thanks for the stickers. sonic 90 CODE:RED 6.7

Dave Morehead (29590km): Got one run in at East Inlet before the tide got too low then went round to sail in the bay with everyone. Absolutely great sail. We were all blasting around up wind where it was flatter while Frommie was setting the course for racing. First race was quite late in the afternoon, maybe around 3:30 and the wind was pretty solid. An M-shaped course was set with a beach start and finish. Nice broad off the wind blast for the first run, so plenty of speed approaching the mark. Managed 3 of my top 5, 2-second and 10-second runs during the racing. Sailed with my new Severne Code Red 7.5 on 2009 iSonic 122 and C3 46cm Venom fin. Despite the wind and chop all felt good and I was super impressed with the sail. Great to catch up with everyone again and to also (briefly) meet Dr Cam!!
