New sail sucessfully tested! First hint of wind and I'm cruising past previous PB's. YEAH

Gusty, shifty, holey sail at LB. Very flat early on, and hooked a few good gusts.

Naish SP91; Naish Stealth 09 6.4; CL Slalom 31cm.

This combo is gonna be lightning! The sail cranked upwind, rotated like a freestyle sail, and never stopped pulling downwind. Matches my weirdo board perfectly. Then there is the fin... HUGE thanks to Chris Lockwood. I was well over-finned at times, but it was rock solid off the wind and cranked around the gybes.

Totally bugered from the shirty conditions, but stoked to feel so comfy over 34 in the middle of the river.

Decided not to sail across from Mossie (didn't fancy another paddle back) so went to Pt W. Started on the 28cm pointer but too much snot weed.

Changed to 29cm Elmo weedy and accepted that I would be at its 34 knot limit (from Hardie's experience).

Hit 34 early on then 34.6 then 35.96 then 36.56 on the dial.

Fin seemed to allow the board to lift over the small chop brilliantly.

Best thing was that because the conditions weren't brilliant at the start everybody b*gg&^ed off and as the wind picked up the tide dropped and I had the whole place to myself.CoolCoolCoolCool!

Spent the last 15 mins trying alphas. Happy with the 23.4 as it is second best and definitely top for a weedy.

JP84L slalom II, Koncept 5.8, 28cm JP / 29cm Elmo weedy.

Well done Chris on the PB's and glad the new kit is paying dividends.

Bump and jump at Watermans. Wasnt going to risk going to the river and bobbing around. Great fun and some very "interesting" crashes. Sounds like PW was the place to be, if I had a 6.4 maybe the river would have been good Laughing Kevin might buy me one.

mucking about with ka72 and noticed I had missed 20km from the distance that day. had a flat laptop battery (the only computer with realspeed) and save the session to csv for posting but forgot to write down the distance. 20Km did seem short for a fairly good sail. didnt make any difference to anything that mattered anyway.
